As we approach the end of the 2005
Calendar Year, sales and operations are full-steam ahead! With the
Direct Sales Team relocating and a number of additions to the
Company within the Sales, Operations and Finance Departments things
are travelling at a fast pace.
Entry into the Victorian market has
been successful, with direct sales starting up and a number of
enquiries coming through to date. We are looking to launch
activities in the South Australian market in 2006 so there is a lot
in the process at the moment!
Our Customer-Get-Customer Program is
now under way and you should have recently received an email
regarding the Program. So start spreading the word about Jackgreen
renewable energy and save yourself and your friends and family money
off your energy bills!
Your support is greatly
appreciated.
Best Regards

10 Years of Planet Ark Recycling Week!
According to Planet Ark, Australia's recycling performance over
the past decade can be described as "the good, the bad and the
ugly". That is, it is good that newspaper recycling
has gone up from 52.7% in 1995 to 74.5% today and we are recycling 600
million more aluminium cans than we were 10 years ago.
There will always be room for improvement, however. "The bad" refers to
talk instead of action - 68% of Australians told Roy Morgan research that
they wanted to recycle more paper at the office but nearly 9 out of every
10 sheets of office paper are being thrown away!
Jon Dee (Planet Ark Founder) & Rebecca Gilling (Host of
Launch Event & Jackgreen Customer)
The "ugly" side is that whilst Australians are recycling more, the
average person is still responsible for generating 2.25kg of waste every
day.
Founder of Planet Ark, Jon Dee, says "Each of us can do a lot more to
recycle better and waste less. It's a moral responsibility that we owe to
our kids as well as to future generations of Australians."
A range of recycled clothing was presented on the
day.
This bench is made completely from recycled printer
cartridges!
